Franco has for any aspiring authors who wish to see their works completed: Don’t ever give up, and Outlining is key. He also has a daughter named Gwendolyn and a son named Joshua. Franco also has a wife named Andrea, who is his biggest supporter and motivator. Salvatore, as well as his experience from years of playing Dungeons and Dragons. Franco is a big fan of Fantasy books and draws a lot of his writing inspiration from his favorite author R.A. And there is so much pressure to be a 'real' Marine and have a CAR that i have had to take. I am a POG with a CAR and after earning mine i thought to myself that a colored piece of ribbon was an odd thing to take away from it.
Infantry and other combat arms MOSs refer to all non combatants as POGs. I know this is meant as a joke, but it did get me thinking about mine. Fortunately, he never gave up on his dream to be a published author and it was his fourth attempt that he was able to see it through to the end. It stands for Personnel Other than Grunts.
However, it wasn’t until he was an adult that his interest in writing grew, and he even made three serious attempts to write a book with the intention on publishing them, but they all ultimately failed. Franco was born in Derry New Hampshire in 1985 and has vague and sporadic memories from his childhood of having an interest in writing.
It was his participation in, and witnessing of, realistic combat training in the military, as well as other aspect of the military lifestyle that allowed him to get the idea for his first published book: The Immortal War. Nathan John Franco has spent over thirteen years in the United States Army as a Combat Photographer and Videographer.
